Company History

Founded in Austria in 2005, Hares Engineering GmbH carved its niche in the CIS and MENA regions, providing engineering, project development, and implementation services in the metallurgical industry. With the opening of an office in Ukraine, the team entered the energy engineering services market. Hares, as the exclusive construction licensee, spearheaded the ITmk3® technology for ironmaking developed by Kobe Steel, Japan.

Hares built a team of over 80 engineers, collaborating with industry giants like Siemens, Danieli, Kuttner, and Hatch. This close cooperation and project experience forged a strong foundation for continued growth.

While Hares Engineering GmbH transitioned due to these complexities, the Ukraine office remains operational. Hares in Bahrain emerges as the next chapter, capitalizing on the accumulated expertise and adapting to a dynamic landscape.
